The location of the hotel is excellent, very convenient for visiting family & friends in Mountclair, close to where we wanted to be. However, the room on the ground floor by the street was noisy with trucks passing by, and there was an issue with the deadbolt that did not lock properly, which took some time to address at check-in regarding the smoking policy.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, although small and with a lingering smoke smell, were relatively clean. However, the service was quite rude and unhelpful. The location was convenient but had cleanliness issues in certain areas. The dining options were passable, but nothing extraordinary.
